About Turnaround Nigeria Initiative
Turnaround Nigeria Initiative (TNI) is a non-profit civic organization committed to driving a holistic reversal of Nigeria’s governance direction from excessive consumption to sustainable productivity, accountability, and inclusive growth.
Who We Are
The ethical mandate of any government is the protection of its citizens through security, social welfare, and responsible management of public resources. Unfortunately, this mandate has remained largely unfulfilled in Nigeria, resulting in widespread poverty amidst abundant human and material resources.
Turnaround Nigeria Initiative exists to challenge this contradiction. We believe the persistent hardship experienced by millions of Nigerians is not inevitable, but rather a consequence of leadership failure and poor governance structures that must be confronted and reformed.
Why We Exist
Nigeria’s abundant resources indict leadership failure when citizens are forced into poverty, destitution, and economic servitude. Millions of Nigerians contribute productively to foreign economies while lacking opportunities at home.
We exist to aggregate critical stakeholders, amplify citizen voices, and catalyze strategic action that repositions Nigeria toward productivity, dignity, and shared prosperity.

To create a neutral platform for honest conversation and strategic action that reconfigures Nigeria’s governance structure through partnerships, accountability, and productivity-focused initiatives that improve citizen welfare.
